McKinley Tennyson
– McKinley Tennyson has been working in various capacities with Pacific Coast Soccer Club (PCSC) for the past fours years. McKinley is currently the Director of Player Development for PCSC, overseeing the striker/forward training curriculum, player development, and club recruitment program. McKinley spent three and half years playing professional soccer both domestically and abroad, earning a Major League Soccer Championship with the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2002. Additionally, McKinley played two seasons with the Portland Timbers of the USL First Division (A-League) and a season with GIF Sundvalls of the Swedish First Division. McKinley was the first African-American soccer player from UCLA to play in the Allsvenska. He was also a member of the United States National Soccer program, representing the USA at the men’s U-18 and U-20 levels. McKinley graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA, where he was an All-American and NCAA champion with the men’s varsity soccer team. He is also an alumnus of the Riordan Fellows Program at UCLA Anderson. McKinley is also a volunteer at The Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation (TDRBCF), which is a non-profit dedicated to the research, treatment, and cure of breast cancer. Professional affiliations include- National Soccer Coaches Association of America, United State Soccer Federation, Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce and the UCLA Alumni Association. McKinley currently resides in downtown Los Angeles with wife, Heaven Denise. |
