Autobahn Soccer Academy
The Autobahn Soccer Academy is a unique soccer development program designed to provide youngsters ages 5-9 with an opportunity to improve fundamental soccer skills in a fun and safe environment. Our program is unique in a number of ways, a few of those include:
Our staff – Each session is conducted by experienced, trained, and nationally licensed coaches
Our curriculum – Our curriculum was created by licensed coaches, educators, developmental experts and, most importantly, coaches who have their own children in the program
We educate the parents – After sessions we talk about what we did, why we did it, and provide ideas for parents to help their kids at home
One Hour and Thirty mins Per Week to Supplement AYSO!
Most of the youngsters in our community begin their soccer careers in AYSO, starting at age U5. What we have seen is that despite the best intentions of volunteer coaches and parents, children often develop bad habits and improper techniques that hinder their development as they progress and mature. By the time these players reach the Club level at U9, they must first unlearn their bad habits before progressing to more advanced concepts.
The Youth Academy was created with the goal of teaching proper fundamentals and techniques to enthusiastic and athletic young soccer players before they ingrain bad habits. Our Licensed club coaches and their highly qualified coaching staff spend approximately ½ of each 1.30 -hour session on instruction and drills, leaving the second ½ for small-sided games in which the kids are encouraged to implement what they have been taught. Then finish off with a scrimmage. The players are then given “homework” to hone the skills taught each week to maximize their development.

Sweet Feet Development Program Boys and Girls Ages 6 – 11

PHILOSOPHY
We will help your son or daughter be ready for the AYSO season so make your child’s first touch on the ball be with the “Sweet Feet” Player Development Program through Pacific Coast Soccer Club! Our method is based on a complete dissection of the moves of the great players of the game, then re-taught to the students piece by piece, drill by drill in a format that is easy and fun to learn. Players will get a tremendous number of touches on the ball while at the same time receiving expert instruction. Our goal is to build a training environment in which coaches and players will be excited about improvement on the individual/team levels so that they will be better prepared for league and tournament competitions. Groups will be broken up by age and the ratio of one coach to 15 players will be maintained if possible. Instruction will be tailored to age group and ability.
FEES
The cost will be an annual registration fee of $75 and $55 per month there after. A parent or guardian must fill out and sign a registration form for each player. Applications and payment will be accepted through the mail and at the field. However, both must be in the Coach’s possession before your child can participate. The registration fee includes CYSA insurance coverage and covers all PCSC Player Development Program training sessions. Training is planned year round upon field availability. MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Player Development Program is to provide youth soccer players with the opportunity to enhance their love for the sport, technical skills and game awareness. One of our goals as an organization is to raise the level of soccer in our community. This program is for our local recreational players. We hope that players who participate will take what they learn and help their teammates learn to love the game of soccer while raising the level of the game.
