LA Galaxy Announce The Signing Of Victor Vazquez

Major League Soccer giants Los Angeles Galaxy have continued to fulfill the promise they made to their fans that they will keep on working to work hard in order to attract new signings to the club ahead of the new season. They have now announced that they have completed all the necessary formalities to sign veteran midfield star Victor Vazquez from Belgian league side Eupen. The 34-year-old midfielder has signed a one-year deal at the club and has the option of an extension for a further year included in the deal.

The former Toronto Football Club star has traveled across the world in his footballing career that has seen him play in as many as seven different countries to date. Following the finalizing of the transfer, Dennis te Kloese, Los Angeles Galaxy’s General Manager, spoke highly of the midfielder, insisting that Vasquez is a brilliant player who has a wealth of both experience and talent. Dennis said he values the midfielder’s experience and is looking forward to him being a leader and an example to the younger players in the squad.

LA GALAXY CLOSE TO SIGNING BOCA JUNIORS STAR TO TOUGHEN UP BACKLINE

Major League Soccer giants Los Angeles Galaxy have decided to take a bold step in their quest to toughen up their defensive Backline with the proposed signing of Boca Juniors defender Christian Pavon. The report is being gathered by Argentinian news outlet TYC Sports, who claim that LA Galaxy are more than willing to bring back the defender to the club where he initially established himself as a great and effective goal-scoring defender.

Pavon has been a very important player for Los Angeles Galaxy and was the club’s player since signing for them back in August 2019 before he was then allowed to leave the club and sign for Argentine league side Boca Juniors. Before leaving Galaxy, however, he was able to make 35 appearances for the club and was as effective in attack as he was in defense. He played a part in making a total of 23 goal contributions in those 35 games, scoring 14 goals and assisting a further 9.

LA GALAXY SIGN PREMIER LEAGUE GOALKEEPER

Major League Soccer (MLS) giants LA Galaxy have signed a Premier League goalkeeper to bolster their squad ahead of the 2021 season. LA Galaxy needed to sign a new goalkeeper and they have moved for Jonathan Bond. His transfer from Premier League newcomers West Brom was announced at the end of last week. The transfer for the shot stopper was confirmed by LA Galaxy on Thursday.

Jonathan Bond has a US passport and this means that he won’t occupy an international roster at LA Galaxy. It’s a big bonus that the signing of Jonathan Bond won’t take up the already limited spot for international players at the club.

LA GALAXY DUO ON MONEY LIST

The LA Galaxy duo of Javier Hernandez and Jonathan dos Santos have been named on the top 20 list of the highest earners in the MLS (Major League Soccer). This is according to the list from bolavip.com which took into account their financial details from last year.

Mexican international Jonathan dos Santos is the younger brother of former LA Galaxy player Giovanni dos Santos and he earns a reported $2m per annum. Jonathan dos Santos is in 15th position on the list. His brother Giovanni dos Santos was on the payroll of LA Galaxy from 2015 to 2018 before he left the club to join Club America in his native Mexico last year.

LIVERPOOL TO APPROACH TRANSFERS WITH CAUTION

Liverpool are reported to have decided against signing any marquee player this summer. The club’s owners are concerned about making any major investments at the club. The current EPL champions have been linked with top names including Kalidou Koulibaly and Thiago Alcantara of Napoli and Bayern Munich respectively, but latest reports indicate that the club will be very careful when it comes to incoming players next season.

Liverpool had planned another window of sparse additions before the COVID-19 outbreak. With the club’s revenue streams taking an unexpected battering like many other clubs around the world. The effect of the pandemic will curtail the finances at Anfield further. Links with Bayern Munich’s star Thiago continue to gather momentum, but with the current group having just won the Premier League title, it is believed Liverpool will only pursue deals which represent extraordinary financial value in the current financial situation.

LA GALAXY WANT BALOTELLI, AWAIT RESTART

Major League Soccer (MLS) giant LA Galaxy are hoping to land Italian forward Mario Balotelli, as per reports from Italian sources. Following spells at Nice and Marseille, Balotelli returned to the Serie A this season where he has netted five times in 19 games.

The goals would likely not be enough to keep the club afloat at the end of the season. Brescia have garnered only 16 points after 26 games and sit at the bottom of the table. The Rondinelle are set to be relegated to the Serie B.

The former Manchester City and Liverpool man is already preparing to leave the club after only a season. He joined on a free transfer deal till 2022 but he is keen on a fresh challenge. His agent Mino Raiola is in talks with LA Galaxy over a switch when North America football resumes. There are also links to Brazilian clubs or leagues that have a calendar years schedule and where he can start playing immediately.

IBRAHIMOVIC TO LEAVE AC MILAN

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s long term future at AcMilan is in doubt. The club is preparing for major change in the summer. Zvonimir Boban and Paolo Maldini might leave the club in the summer. The two were instrumental in bringing Ibrahimovic to the San Siro and their departure might also lead to Ibrahimovic’s departure from the club.

Ibrahimovic joined AC Milan as a free agent in December. The Swede who last played with LA Galaxy in the MLS, joined Milan after his time in MLS came to an end. He joined Milan on a six-month deal with an option of extension should the club qualify for the Champions league.

BARCELONA TARGETS CARLOS VELA

The January transfer window is around the corner and Barcelona are reported to have their sights on the mostly unlikely of leagues: MLS football.

According to Jonathan dos Santos, the Catalans are more than impressed with the numbers the Mexico international has been able to crunch out and they are ready to bet on the former Real Sociedad striker.

Paying Older Players is Suicide for MLS

The LA Galaxy along with its superstar footballer from Sweden who is known for his flamboyant nature, Zlatan Imbrahimovic might not have gotten the chance to reach the final of the MLS Western Conference. But he proclaimed something strange in 2019 before departing from the season. Many people are seeing his departure as a good decision. When asked about his future, the 38-year-old wisely answered if he stays back then it will be good for MLS as the whole world will be able to watch it. After LA Galaxy got defeated by 5-3 at the semi-final match of the Western Conference to LAFC, he said that nobody will ever remember who MLS was if he doesn’t stay.

Certainly, MLS will not disappear from its existence simply because Ibrahimovic will be retiring or moving on. But if the casual fans are taken into consideration in abroad or in North America who have paid a lot of attention to the antics, then it will be definitely hard to argue whether his departure will have any kind of considerable dent to MLS or not. Many of the other star players like Thierry Henry, Kaka, Wayne Rooney, David Villa, and David Beckham have stopped in the league but no one has been able to combine the kind of personality, controversy, and accessibility that Ibrahimovic has had while playing for MLS.

Hat Trick by Ibrahimovic Force Galaxy to Reach the Playoffs

A hat trick was scored by Zlatan Ibrahimovic that enabled Los Angeles Galaxy to have an easy win over Sporting Kansas City. They beat Kansas by 7-2 that helped them to reach the playoff round of the MLS race. The Galaxy climbed back into the eighth position for the Major Soccer League Cup playoff after they gave up a goal very early during the match to Felipe Gutierrez who plays for Kansas City. They have secured the fifth position outside the MLS standings in the Western Conference.

Ibrahimovic has played earlier for Sweden. He played for the Manchester United club as well. He launched his come back to the game at the 32nd minute of the match which can be termed as the turning point. He came into his power after LA Galaxy got a penalty because of the strike by Matt Besler was declared as a handball within the area. His effort was deflected from the spot by Tim Melia. But the goalkeeper from Sporting Kansas City could not hang onto the ball and he slid to the ground feebly while Ibrahimovic moved forward and stepped into the ball to slot it into the net smoothly.
