In what was their last match before the kick-off of the 2019 Major league soccer (MLS) season, Los Angeles Galaxy lost 3-1 to the Colorado Rapid during the weekend at Dignity Health Sports Park.Galaxy were without several key players including Sebastian Lletget, Perry Kitchen, Junnho, Giovani dos Santos and Jonathan dos Santos. They were all listed as unavailable for the contest. The tie was a test of the team’s depth, specially in the midfield, anda stern test for coach Guillermo Barros

In the 15th minute of the tie goalkeeper David Bingham was substituted off, after he was on the receiving end of a fierce shot which struck his face. He was replaced for the remainder of the game by Matt Lampson. Noupdate as was giving as to the injury sustained by Bingham after the match, but he left the field on his own.
